I am fairly certain I understand the math behind the portrait-mode transformation. I do not even slightly understand the math behind the landscape-mode transformation. I generated this code by printing some test figures, measuring how far off the transformation was, finding some variables which could be added together to sum up to the error, and subtracting those variables from the expressions below.
As of today (4/25/94), it works. It will not be changed. If you think you have a reason to change it, you are wrong. If you change it anyway, and it breaks, I will not fix it. If you ask me to fix it anyway, I will kill you. Then I will kill myself.
