For efficiency, the game defines a single bathtub which is shared between MONICA-ROOM and BUTLER-ROOM. (Also LINDER-ROOM, but there the FOUR-POSTER takes precedence.) If you put an object on the bed, you can EXAMINE BED in either location and see it.
(But you can’t do anything with it. The parser doesn’t recognize the contents of a floating container. So much for the magical teleporting bed portal.)
