Set up the world at the start of the game. Start the timers. Print the banner. Set all those useful globals like HERE and WINNER.

(Note the commented-out line that sets the I-LAMP timer. Left over from when this code was copied from Zork!)

GO also fills in the MASSES and KNOWNS tables, which is odd because they are both defined with their contents in place. The values this routine stores are already present. Possibly this indicates a bug in an earlier version of the ZIL compiler?
